Namibia Berries is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the establishment of operational facilities at our farm in Divundu, Namibia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Design, set up, and project manage the local production of 'lugs' (trays) in Divundu, replacing current imports.

·       Ensure compliance with farming, harvesting, and export regulations for blueberries.

·       Establish operational systems for processes, quality control, health & safety, and maintenance.

·       Ensure compliance with farming, harvesting, and export regulations for blueberries.

·       Implement a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) for all operations.

·       Introduce and oversee a 5S programme for efficiency and organisation.

·       Contribute to internal structural setup and development.

·       Develop and manage the supply chain to support production, harvesting, and shipping.

·       Identify and train local talent, contributing to skills development and mentorship.

·       Support the execution of the overall expansion plan for future phases.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

·      Minimum of 10 years’ operational, logistics and capital expansion experience.

·      An engineering qualification.
